I Was Prescribed Bactrim And Had A Severe Itching Reaction

I was prescribed Bactrim and had a severe itching reaction from it. They gave me meds for it, which relieved the itching, but I have had a burning sensation on my arms and legs where the itching was. There is nothing on the skin surface, but I feel that my nerves under the skin were affected. Any suggestions?
