I Was Prescribed Metronidazole Gel 0.75% For 5 Days At

I was prescribed Metronidazole Gel 0.75% for 5 days at nighttime and finished my last dose 7/26/2015 at 12 a.m. Since then during today I have developed a yeast infection. I was curious if I can use Monistat 7 to treat this and get some relief. Also I have developed heartburn and would like to know if I can take Tums 750 while I just used the Metro Gel
