I Was Prescribed Propranolol 20 Mg. Day Before Yesterday Because

I was prescribed Propranolol 20 mg. day before yesterday because my blood pressure was 181/100. The Dr. said it would help with my anxiety also. I took one about 3:30pm and by 5:20pm it was down to 153/70 and I was feeling so much better. She told me not to take one until the following morning which I did. My BP came down and so did the anxiety for the whole day on Wed. Wed. night I woke at 4am and could not go back to sleep. At 8:30am my BP was at 141/81, 9:30 - 155/80, 10:30-127/72 and 2:00pm 138/82 but I have still had the anxiety. It worked so well at first and anxiety is a bad thing for me. We are having a horrible situation going on and I can't take any benzos. I got off of Atavan 2 years ago and was find until this situation. I can't reach my prescribing Dr. Your thoughts? I am 77, female and not doing well. I'm sorry I can't afford to pay, I just wanted a quick opinion. Sorry I don't have the money.
