I Was Prescribed Boric Acid Powder For A Fungal Ear

I was prescribed boric acid powder for a fungal ear infection and accidentally got too much of it in my ear. I feel a bubbling sensation in my ears if I burp. What do I need to do to remedy it? Is there anything I can do at home to help or do I need to schedule an appointment with an ent?
