I Was Prescribed Spirolactone And I Took It For Several

I was prescribed spirolactone and I took it for several months. It has caused severe hair loss and even though I am not taking it now the hair loss is continuing and not improving. Is there anything I can use to promote hair growth? I am 85 and heart failure with Afib means I cannot use some medications directly on my head.
