I Was Prescribed Taro Mometasone Cream (0.1%) For Pityriasis Rosacea

I was prescribed taro mometasone cream (0.1%) for pityriasis rosacea spots. I have only used it twice (2 nights in a row). Today I noticed I have very white spots where I put the cream (hypopigmentation) and I just look like a spotted mess. Is this forever? Will my skin colour ever go back to normal?
