I Was Prescribed The Drug Methyl Prednisolone On 01/08/2015 And

I was prescribed the drug methyl prednisolone on 01/08/2015 and have had heartburn everyday since. I am miserable, and I found out that heartburn is one of the side effect of this drug. What should I do? I would like to quit taking it. Please advise. Thank you.
