I Was Prescribed With Yasmin To Stop My Period Since

I was prescribed with Yasmin to stop my period since I want to perform my umrah. Somehow, a day before I depart, i bleed, 10 days after taking Yasmin. MY gynae then prescribed me with duphostan 10mg and i have taken it for 2 days then. THe gynae advices that I still continue my Yasmin though. When can i expect the duohaston to take effect and stop my bleeding. I really need to stop this bleeding. Please.
