I Was Pricked By A Palm Plant That Is Used

I was pricked by a palm plant that is used outside by my pool. I was cutting back some dead limbs when I pricked myself on the right hand in about 5-6 places. That was yesterday, it now looks like a red little pimple and it hurts. They hurt to touch, should I put something on them?
