I Was Put On A Medication For Hyperthyroidism Called Methimazole

I was put on a medication for hyperthyroidism called Methimazole which I weaned my self off about 4 weeks ago as I put on close to 30 extra pounds and feel very unhealthy. I had a biometric screening from my job our medcial ins and was told my Triglycerides are boarder line high 194. did the medicing or weight gain have anything to do with this or is it simply my diet.
