I Was Recently Diagnosed With Community Pneumonia At The Emergency

I was recently diagnosed with community pneumonia at the emergency room, They put me on a Zpak and my regular doctor followed up with another 10 days of antibiotics. I have had serious rib pain under my left arm around to the back for several weeks with zero relief. Is this normal to have this rib pain for 3-4 weeks? I am 64 and know that it takes longer to heal when you get older.
