I Was Recently Diagnosed With Endometriosis And I Have This

I was recently diagnosed with endometriosis and I have this terrible back pain when i lie down. It usually lasts five minutes or so and it'll hurt no matter what side, back, or stomach I lay on. I only have this problem a week prior to my periods....could this be related
