I Was Recently Diagnosed With Paronychia Of All Ten Fingers

I was recently diagnosed with paronychia of all ten fingers due to acrylic nails. Currently on augmentin 875 twice daily. Pain is gone but surrounding areas of nails are peeling still though better. Will this take care of the bacterial infection? No more acrylic nails for me....was this caused from dirty instruments? Thanks much
