I was recently exposed to a dirty needle which was later confirmed, via blood test, that the user was positive for Hep C. I just received my six week blood test and was advised it came back negative but showed a .2 result which meant I contracted the disease. What are the chances that my body can fight this or does it mean once infected always infected?
