I Was Recently In A Car Accident Back In May

I was recently in a car accident back in may I have a broken arm and had to have surgery now I have a metal plate and 6 screws holding my bone together my fracture line was still visible and they took my cast off. I am now currently waiting on a bone stimulator, I don't have a splint. Is there anything I can do in the process to support my arm?
