I Was Recently Prescribed Amlodipine 5 Mg Morning & Night.

I was recently prescribed amlodipine 5 mg morning & night. My dr said a side effect could b e some feet swelling which i just discovered in my right ankle. I also take simvastatin 40 mg and edarb 80 mg. what i read is there could be an interaction between simvastin & amlodipine, is this a concern
