I Was Recently Put On Xarelto For Pulmonary Embolism (a

I was recently put on Xarelto for pulmonary embolism (a little over a month ago). I now have my period and it is extremely heavy and ongoing (over a week now). My normal cycle is 4-5 days and usually very light. I am 42 years old. When do I need to see a professional and/or is this normal? I am so tired too. Is it ok to take iron supplements while on the Xarelto? I'm concerned because it is the weekend and I would not be able to speak to my doctors until Monday. Thank you.
