I Was Recently Scheduled For A Colposcopy After Being Told

I was recently scheduled for a colposcopy after being told my last visit to the gyno resulted in "abnormalities", assuming they were referring to an abnormal Pap this year as I had an abnormal pap last year (I am 25). I recently found out that the doctor only took a hpv test and not a pap, but still scheduled me for a colposcopy. I do not trust this doctor (it is a military clinic) and want to know if I should request a pap before allowing the doctor to perform an invasive procedure/possible biopsy. What should I do?
