I Was Recently Scheduled To See A Doctor In Reference

I was recently scheduled to see a doctor in reference to my heart rate exceeding over 100 bpm during a pre employment physical. I wore a heart moniter for 24hrs and an ultrasound of my heart was done. I was told the ultrasound of my heart looked fine but was refered to another doctor in reference to my heart rate going between 106 and 120 bpm during regular daily tasks. I have since been keeping a check and my resting heart rate during the day stays around 97 bpm when I'm not up and moving. It can range from 97 bpm to 114 bpm when I am doing daily tasks. I have noticed it goes up when I smoke a cigarette. I have changed my diet and in the gym 6 days a week to improve my health. I have smoked for 8 years, fast food every day and had not worked out in 3 years. Is there any cause for concern that the doc will see me unfit to perform my job and will denied me to be approved to pass the physical?
