Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I was recently told I have copd. I am a light to moderate smoker trying to stop. I do not cough. I do not wheeze and have no shortness of breath. I do however get very stuffed up at night and have wheezing sounds in both nostrils. Have had puffy eyes in the morning after a bad nite of not breathing through my nose. Am finding too that I have pain in my right face, cheek sinus cavity as well as the over the eye and alongside the temple. I do not cough up any mucous and rarely have even a dry cough. Can you help explain why my breathing patterns conclude a diagnosis of cold. Thank you Ellen McBride.
