I Was Referred For A Ultrasound Of My Neck And

I was referred for a ultrasound of my neck and uterus by my ob. I was told that she saw several fibroids on and the largest was 7cm length and width along with several (double digits) goiters on my thyroid. How do I know if I need surgery and how serious this is?
