I Was Skateboarding At A Pretty High Rate Of Speed

I was skateboarding at a pretty high rate of speed and slammed into a metal bench and have 2 cuts on the top of my head. How do I know if I need stitches? I am up to date on my tetanus shot, and I have cleaned the wound and the cuts have been lightly bleeding for about 4 hours.
