I Was Stung By A Bee In My Hand At

I was stung by a bee in my hand at the joint between metacarpal and phalange of ring finger....36 hrs ago.
The swelling is getting worse and very itchy. Am using aloe Vera and have tried bicarbonate which did help initially.
Will this subside or do I need to get antihistamines. Can I buy over the counter?
