I Was Supposed To Be On The 3rd Day Of

I was supposed to be on the 3rd day of my Placebo pills today but instead I began my next pack because I was told that's how you skip your period. I am taking Levora. Am I protected if I have sex now that I've begun the next pack and have I completely screwed up my cycle also? Will I get my period anyways? Please explain.
