I Was Taking Claritin D For My Cold For The

I was taking Claritin D for my cold for the past four days. But I went to my doctor today and he prescribe Azithromycin Tab 250mg and desloratadine plus promethazine dm for the cough. Should I stop taking the Claritin D and continue with the medication my doctor prescribe.
