I Was Taking A Shower This Morning With My Contacts

I was taking a shower this morning with my contacts in and I accidentally dropped a large amount of shampoo right in my eye..... I finally was able to get the contact out and flush the eye but after 12 hrs the eye still hurts and is still red with matting . Do you think I will need some antiobiotc drops or just let it heal on its own.
