I Was Taking Amoxicillian For 5 Days And Now I

I was taking amoxicillian for 5 days and now I have diarrehea. I have Cipro - enough for 7 days. I started with a cold that turned quickly into an infection ( I have asthma) so took Biaxin for 4 days (twice a day) it didn't help. So my doctor prescribed amox tr-k clv 3 times a day with food. and today i have diarrhea. I took peptobismo, it helped. Should I just wait to see if I get better in a couple of days, take the Cipro, continue the Musinex. I still have color in my phlem . My doctor is on vacation.
