I was tested for HSV 2 IgG twice in the past 6 weeks and my antibody index was the same 1.0 AI. The equivocal is 0.9 to 1.0 AI. Should I consider myself having HSV 2 herpes. Is there another test to surely confirm whether or not I have the virus. Should I use a condom during sex with my girlfriend just to be on the safe side? Is it normal to have the same results for the HSV 2 IgG test? What do I tell my girlfriend?
