I Was Told 7 Years Ago That I Have Carpal

I was told 7 years ago that I have Carpal Tunnel in my right hand.The last treatment I had was the injection to the wrist about six months ago. Just had one injection and didn't go back for the second. The pain is bad when I push my hand down facing my forearm or while I'm sleeping I might turn it the wrong way. It also gets stiff at times and I have to do some rotation to loss it up some. what should I do and what can it really be?
