I Was Told I Have A Bacterial Infection, Tseudomonas, From

I was told I have a bacterial infection, Tseudomonas, from a cut on my shin which I got over 3 weeks ago.
Urgent Care prescribed Amoxocillin but now that the results of the culture is back and they know what it is, they are giving me Ciprofloxacin.
Is this the right protocol and what are the side effects from this medication
