I Was Told I Have Diverticulitus. I Am Again Having

I was told I have diverticulitus. I am again having a mild attack, but I have not eaten, the pain is horrible and in the upper part of my stomach with bloating. I had a cat scan and that is all that was detected, nothing seems to help relieve the pressure I feel.
