I Was Told I Have Diverticulosis After My Last Colonoscopy.

I was told I have diverticulosis after my last colonoscopy. I have occasional flare up with pain low on my left side abdominal area. These usually go away after a few hours or after a bowel movement. Today I have had this pain all ay and it is not going away. What should I do?
