I Was Told By The Nurse Pract's Nurse They Were

I was told by the nurse pract's nurse they were calling in a prescription for Crestor as a result of my recent cholesterol check. They haven't even explained to me face to face what I can expect and how a statin might affect me. Some years back I tried Lipitor and suffered horribly from leg cramps. I am already in enough discomfort from osteo arthritis in my knees, I am dealing with/discomfort and pain from ( L) knee meniscectomy and moderate stenosis in my left leg. My LDL is 166. I want to try making a concerted effort to control my cholesterol w/ diet. What do you think?
