I Was Told That I Have A Fractured L4 Vertebrae

I was told that I have a fractured L4 vertebrae when I went to er. I went to the VA and was told it was herniated via a CT scan. They put me on pain meds and diazepam, not helping with pain, just puts me to sleep. If I sneeze or cough the pain is unbearable. I also loose my balance and have pain in botj legs along with numbness. I am scheduled for a PT consult on the 23rd. Im a little worried because pain has not gotten better and its been three weeks
