I Was Told That I Have Degenerative Disc Disease And

I was told that I have degenerative disc disease and narrowing of the spine and spurs everywhere on my spine. I also was told that I had to learn to live with the pain .. I have been having severe pain. is there anything that can help? I also have arthritis in my hands and feet-which is very painful.
