I Was Trying To Conceive Last Month And Still Didn't

I was trying to conceive last month and still didn't get my period.my doctor prescribed duphaston ( dydrogesterone 10mg) for me before testing for pregnancy.my urine test is negative and im still on duphaston. Should i stop it? Or should i wait until my period comes?
I read it delays your period as well!
Please advice
