I Was Washing Dishes... I Went To Wipe Suds Off

I was washing dishes... I went to wipe suds off my right wrist and noticed it hurt to the touch like a bruise. I felt the skin and noticed some water under the skin and swelling. It only hurts when I touch it and the discoloration is so minor that you can barely see any. I did spend about three hours writing non stop today which I never do. Can uncharacteristic writing cause swelling and bruising under the skin? I can actually feel the fluid.
