I Was Wondering About Vocal Nodules. I Am A 46

I was wondering about vocal nodules. I am a 46 year old music teacher and for the past few years i've noticed my vocal break is very pronounced and some notes are not coming out at all. My singing voice is so intrical to my everyday life that I was wondering what are the best doctors to see and practices that I might employ before I see a doctor.
