I Was Wondering Why The Drs At A Hospital Left

I was wondering why the drs at a hospital left the blood from my kidney laceration in me.they said that my body would alleviate the blood on it's own.I also had to be given three blood transfusions so it couldn't have been minor.so your answer would really give me a little piece of mind.is it normal to be urinating blood after a kidney injury ,even after corrected . For a time frame I was in the hospital for 9 days and out for 6! So about two weeks and still urinating blood,obvious blood.should I be concerned?
