I Wear Hearing Aids But Even Without Them My Hearing

I wear hearing aids but even without them my hearing rattles and crackles in moderate to load settings and more with woman and children talking and singing. The louder the sounds the worse the distortion. I have worn or tried 7 different hearing aids. They may help or not depending on the situation. Sometimes they actually magnify the distortion depending on the settings. When I talk or sing I also get the distortion almost like coming from a overdriven or broken speaker.
