I Wear Spectacles And They Leave An Indent Either Side

I wear spectacles and they leave an indent either side of the bridge of my nose. Recently these indents do not disappear even overnight and are almost permanent. Is something changing in my physiology? I am 62, 5' 6" and 9st 12lbs. I have no significant health problems and eat well and am moderately fit.
