I Went Into The ER Due To Having A Spinal

I went into the ER due to having a spinal headache from having an epidural steroid injection. They put an IV in me for fluids. It's been 3 days since the IV and my arm is tender, the vein is bulged and I have a pea size lump on my wrist right below my thumb. Is this normal?
