I Went On A Run Today And It Is Kinda

I went on a run today and it is kinda chilly for where we live. After I got home I started to get a sore throat. So I got some cough drops. but my throat hurt so much I couldn't even swallow my saliva. I am taking a homeopathic medicine called cold calm but it hasn't had a very big effect. I have been taking it for about an hour now, and I began to shiver. I got in my bed and piled on all the blankets but I'm still cold. Is this a flu virus? Or just a bad sore throat with a fever?
