I Went To A Free Self-defense Class This Past Weekend.

I went to a free self-defense class this past weekend. At one point in the class, we were instructed to punch the instructor while he held up a punching bag. I went at it full force a couple times. We were also taught a maneuver to get out if someone were to grab our wrists that involved twisting and pulling our wrists from the attacker.

The next day, both my wrist were in pain. It hurt when moving or bending. I have since bandaged them, iced them at night and bought a wrist brace to wear during the day. It has been three days and though the pain is much milder and only occurs at certain angles, and the pain has migrated down to the muscles below the wrist and in the hands, it has not healed completely.

With continued icing and bandaging, will my wrists heal? If so, how long before I can resume my normal exercise and workout regiment?
