I Went To One Dentist And They Said My Son

I went to one dentist and they said my son has 5 cavities and he has never had any. I went to a second dentist and he said that he might see a couple of places but they weren't through the enamel. Should these be filled. He felt they shouldn't be. My son is 16 years old.
