I Went To See An Optometrist Today And After They

I went to see an Optometrist today and after they did some tests he said I have a couple white spots in my left eye and I did see them as well, he asked me if I had a genetic disorder in my family and I couldn't remember what he called it.....I have to go back in 6 months and have my eyes rechecked. Do you know what it is called?
