I Went To The Dr Today W An Earache. Sore

I went to the dr today w an earache. Sore throat. The dr said I had dried blood in my ear. She said to try to get it out would hurt my already tender ear. I have not poked it and don't use qtips. She gave me an antibiotic. This is the 3rd time in 3 months I've had this problem, but no blood before. How can I remove this?
