I Went To The Emergency Room The Night Before Last

I went to the emergency room the night before last for tingling/numbness in my hands/arms, feet/lower legs, and face. I also have joint pain in the majority of my joints. I am also having muscle spasms that are in my upper back/neck. I have celiac disease as well as fatty liver, but no other conditions that I know of. I took a dose pack of prednisone that I finished Thursday of last week. It was prescribed for serious hives that covered my entire body. I thought may have contributed to the symptoms, but i now have a headache and am slightly dizzy/ lightheaded. (And still experiencing tingling sensations that come and go, but are present at most time) the er physician suggested I get into a doctor as soon as possible (preferably this week), but nobody can get me in until three weeks from now. He explained that I may end up needing an mri, but all of the blood tests that he could do came back normal and my heart seemed ok and it didn't seem like a stroke. I am unsure if i should venture back to the er. Is there anything that they could really do for me there? I don't know what to do, and don't want to burden my family with taking me if they cannot help me in the er.
