I Went To The Er And They Thought I Was

I went to the er and they thought I was having an ectopic pregnancy, but I'm having lower left quadrant abdominal pain. Severe cramping and bouts of diarrhea. My mother let me know I needed to let the Drs know about the diverticulitis in our family history. And they didn't do any other tests other than a pelvic exam and urinalysis. And after telling me everything was normal in the pelvic exam that I must just have an ovarian cyst. Do you think I should go to a different hospital and get a second opinion? I've been experiencing these severe cramps for two full days now and they don't go away
