I Woke Up And Had Bumps All Around My Lips

I woke up and had bumps all around my lips and then the next day it had spread to my chin, face and nose. I called and made an appointment with a dermatologist for the next day. Around my lips, I think it looks like a type of yeast infection because the bumps are really small, but my lips have swollen and have bumps all over my top and bottom lip. The dermatologist gave me an ointment called Alcortin A. My question is will it help this condition and how long will it take? Thanks, Sandy
